At least 23989 new cases were reported in Tamil Nadu on 15th Jan. Over the past week, there have been an average of 18365 cases per day,an increase of 240 percent from the average two weeks earlier.
As of Saturday evening, there have been at least 2,915,948 cases and 36,965 deaths in Tamil Nadu since the beginning of the pandemic, according to MOHFW.
